Legislation: NYSCRA, working in conjunction with ASSCR, helped in getting General Business Law 399-‐cc-‐2 passed to make an attorney/law firm responsible for court reporting fees, as well as Bill S5533-‐B, referred to as the CART Bill, which expands provisions to enable people who are deaf or hard of hearing with access to court proceedings become law.
